In the thick of homeschooling lessons, meal prep, laundry piles, raising kids (and even launching them), it’s so easy to stay locked into today’s to-do list. But every once in a while, it helps to look up and remember:

That’s exactly how we feel about the path ahead for Pathfinder Press.

A Simple Beginning

When we first started, our idea was simple.

We wanted to write and publish stories that reflected our faith and family values; stories our kids could read without us having to worry about hidden messages or mixed-up morals.

But even then, it was never just about books.

It was about building a family culture that treasures truth, creativity, and hope.

A Bigger Dream

Along the way, something unexpected happened.

We began meeting other families who shared the same desire. Parents searching for wholesome stories. Kids with big imaginations. Grandparents hoping to preserve family memories for generations yet to come.

And slowly, almost without realizing it, we started to wonder…

What if this little homeschool project wasn’t meant to stop with our family?

What if Pathfinder Press could become a place where other families find courage, clarity, and practical help to tell their stories, too?

That dream has been growing quietly in our hearts ever since.

Where We’re Headed

As we look ahead, our hopes are simple but full:

• To keep telling our own family’s stories
• To create books that make children laugh, think deeply, and know they are loved by God
• To equip other families with practical, step-by-step tools to turn ideas into finished stories… no publishing degree required
• To help parents see storytelling as a beautiful way to pass down faith and values

We’re not rushing to build something flashy.

We’re taking small steps; trusting God to open the right doors, provide what’s needed, and bring the right families along at just the right time.

A Fun Family Note:

When we dreamed up Pathfinder Press, we knew it needed to reflect our whole family.

One of our favorite parts of this rebrand is that our daughter designed our new logo and helped refresh the website! Watching her use the skills she’s developed to serve our family’s work has been a sweet reminder that the seeds planted in one season often bear fruit in the next. (More on that story next time.)
